olunteers are the lifeblood of any non-profit organization and Forget Me Not Children’s Services is no exception. Dedicated volunteers are essential to the ongoing success of our programs and we offer many volunteer opportunities for those who want to “give back” to the community. Volunteerism is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, gain insight, grow personally, and help build a better society.

Farm Volunteers
T
herapy Group Volunteers are needed Monday through Thursday to help with the various groups of children. The time commitment is small -- just 60-90 minutes per week and an occasional related workshop once or twice a year. Because instability is the hallmark of the lives of these children, every effort is made in the program to provide stability; therefore, volunteers must agree to at least a one-year commitment. The children develop specific attachments to favorite animals and adults, and these are encouraged with the intent of making the children feel successful in initiating and cultivating relationships. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.

Volunteer orientations are the third Thursday of each month from 11:00 – 12:30. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the volunteer application. Send an email to Carol@forgetmenotfarm.org to make a reservation.
